There are rarely promo codes to be used on our site because we want to treat our customers with respect and pass along deals through publicly advertised promotions. In most cases we are glad to match competitor's delivered pricing on identical make & model factory-new items from authorized re-sellers. We are unable to match auction pricing, closeout specials, non-current online or print ads, misprints, rebates or other special scenarios. We work diligently to ensure accurate pricing at Batavia Machinery. In the rare event that a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel an order if the actual price is higher than the displayed price. Please note prices of items added to the shopping cart may change to reflect current prices as displayed on the product detail page.
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, wire transfers, Pay Pal and company checks. Due to the specialty nature of our products, your credit card will be charged in full at the time of purchase, regardless of lead time, unless prior arrangements are made.
All Returns must have prior approval from a Batavia Machinery sales agent, be clearly marked with an RMA#, and are subject to a 35% restocking fee. No returns after 30 days. No returns on special order and custom items. Shipping fees or any cost associated with international shipping, duties, taxes or brokerage fees are non-refundable. Products must be secured with original packaging in new/unused condition and must be shipped in a sturdy box prepaid. Do not use the manufacturer box as a shipping container. We reserve the right to refuse any deliveries that do no meet these conditions.
• Exchanges: On stock item exchanges of equal or greater value the restocking fee is waived. Customers are responsible for shipping fees both ways.
• Factory Returns or Exchanges: Items designated as "Factory Shipped" will be returned to the manufacturer and subject to their return policies and re-stocking fees.
• Other Scenarios: Products that no longer have original packaging or that have been used can be shipped to us prepaid. Upon receipt we will inspect the item and propose a restocking fee if we desire to keep it. The customer can then agree to the restocking proposal or receive the product back.
We utilize UPS, US Mail and LTL (Truck Freight) daily to accommodate the wide range of product we offer. Other carriers may be used, but customer must arrange all shipping documentation and pickup (Call tag). All shortage claims must be made to Batavia Machinery, Inc. within 5 days of receipt. On shipments direct from the manufacturer, their terms apply.
Any claims for damage or loss must be filed with the carrier or reported to Batavia Machinery, Inc within 24 hours. Notation of damages is the responsibility of the purchaser. By signing for the goods without noting the delivery ticket, the purchaser accepts the product as-is. If any damages or missing items are found later but not noted on the delivery ticket, it is unlikely that we can recoup any costs. If the driver will not wait for you to inspect the shipment, simply mark the shipment as "damaged" before signing.
In the occurrence of major damages such as such as a machine laying on its side or severely broken, we suggest refusing the delivery completely. With any type of damage, call us immediately so we can assist you.
All product warranties are those of the product manufacturer. The manufacturer's individual terms apply for all warranty claims. Batavia Machinery, Inc. can assist the customer by supplying the correct procedure and information regarding product warranties, but is not responsible for settling claims with the manufacturer. Please note that in some cases items shipped overseas may no longer carry the standard manufacturer's warranty.
Batavia Machinery will not be liable for product defect claims that are due to product misuse or improper product selection. Any liability for consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages are expressly disclaimed. Batavia Machinery' liability in all events is limited to, and shall not exceed, the purchase price paid for the product that gives rise to any liability. Warranty information including coverage, terms, length, etc. is subject to change without notice.
